A spokesperson for ITV said that a Twitter use who goes by the name 'Philomena' caused executives at the channel to cancel the Sunday night show.
Philomena, who appears to be in her 50's, replied to the show's host, Phillip Schofield, slamming the show and calling it "boring this year" and announcing that she ''turned it off". While England Tonight did reach out to Philomena for comment, we have had no response. In a statement, ITV said that "the executive board committee was shocked and saddened to discover that Philomena was disappointed with the new series of Dancing On Ice". Viewers of the show have generally praised the revival, which was last on our screens in 2014. Dancing On Ice is presented by housewives' favourite Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby every Sunday evening.
