Next urgently recalls lamp that SHATTERS in peoples' home AS THEY SLEEP.
The retailer Next has recalled the 'Glamour 2 Light Table Lamp' after reports of the design cracking in the bottom half when in use.
Clothing and home retailer Next has recalled their 'Glamour 2 Light Table Lamp' after several reports to The Passenger that concerned the silver 'bulging' design cracking, and in some cases, shattering into pieces after hours in use.
The design, which features a 'teardrop with the essence of a geometric accent of love and kindness' as the main attraction, and sports a grey lamp shade is recommended to be used with a cool running LED bulb, but some customers have opted to use a traditional incandescent bulb instead. The result is that the bottom half starts to either melt or crack, which isn't any serious danger to the end consumer. However, the reason Next has recalled the lamp is due to the danger that the design can crack and shatter in the consumers' house.
